Terms and conditions

1. Who these terms are between

These terms apply between hellen-design ("the Studio", "I"), Csokonai Vitéz Mihály utca 1B, 4450 Tiszalök, Hungary, support@hellen-design.com, and anyone who orders from this site ("you"). They cover web design, development, audit, support and care services, and the sessions and add-ons sold on the site.

2. Orders and contract

You add items to the cart and complete checkout. This site has no server, so you send the order to me by email from the confirmation page. The contract is formed when I confirm your order by email. Until then, nothing is owed. Checkout payment on the site is a demo and does not charge you. I send the real payment details with my confirmation.

3. Prices and tax

Prices are in Hungarian forints (HUF). Prices include 27% VAT. Euro amounts are indicative only. "From" prices cover the scope listed for the package. Work beyond that scope is priced before I start it.

4. Payment

Project packages: 30% when the order is confirmed, 40% when you approve the design, 30% before launch. Strategy sessions, audits, support hours and the first month of a care plan are paid in full when the order is confirmed. Care plans then renew monthly. I invoice by email, and invoices are due within 8 days unless the invoice says otherwise. Final files are handed over once the last payment is received.

5. Timelines and what I need from you

Delivery times shown are typical and assume you supply texts, images, feedback and access on time. If something is late, the schedule moves by the same amount, and I tell you the new date.

6. Revisions

Each package states its revision rounds. A round is one consolidated set of changes. Additional rounds are billed at 12,000 HUF per hour.

7. Ownership and rights

Once you've paid in full, you own the final website, the source files and the design files made for you, and I grant you the right to use them without limit. Third-party material, such as fonts or stock images, stays under its own licence, and I tell you which licences apply. I may show the finished work in my portfolio unless you tell me in writing that I may not. You are responsible for having the right to use the texts, images and logos you give me.

8. Care plans and support hours

Care plans renew monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month, and the current month is not refunded. Support hours are valid for 12 months from purchase and are worked within 2 working days of the request. Unused hours can be refunded within 3 months of purchase.

9. Strategy sessions

You may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the session. Cancelling or rescheduling within 24 hours may incur a 50% fee. A missed session is charged in full. The fee is credited in full against a project booked within 60 days of the session.

10. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds

These are set out in the Refund and cancellation policy, which is part of these terms.

11. Warranty and liability

I deliver work with reasonable skill and care, and I fix anything I got wrong for 30 days after launch at no charge. I do not promise search rankings, traffic, sales or any business result, because they depend on factors I do not control. To the extent the law allows, my liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury, intent or gross negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

12. Complaints

Write to support@hellen-design.com. I answer written complaints within 30 days. If we can't settle it, a consumer may turn to the conciliation body: Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg Vármegyei Békéltető Testület, Nyíregyháza.

13. Governing law

Hungarian law governs these terms. If you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live. Hungarian courts have jurisdiction, subject to the rules that protect consumers.

14. Changes

I may update these terms. The version in force on the day you order applies to your order.
